Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10 1/2, who make up the second section of the Scouting family, between Beavers and Scouts.

Seaton Cubs meet on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

Subs for Seaton Cubs are £26 per term.

Water Challenge night

Normal times at the hut for the last meeting this term. Come in clothes to get wet in and bring a spare change of clothes and towel.

AGM - parents to attend

The AGM is at 6.30 and parents are asked to attend. Cubs, scouts and any siblings will enjoy supervised games during the meeting which will be approx 30 minutes. Sausages in rolls will be served to everyone, and time permitting we aim to have parents vs children games after, which brings out the competitive side of our Cubs and scouts!

Rafting at Tipton St John

As Daniel's email, normal times at Tipton St. John scout hut. Wear clothing and shoes for rafting in. Bring a towel, spare change of warm clothes and shoes, a bag for the wet clothes and a drink and snack.
Buoyancy aids will be provided.
Please follow the one way system Daniel has identified in his email as it it a narrow single lane access to the hut.

Cycling Night

Assuming the weather is ok, we will be cycling. Please remember bikes, helmets, drink and snack and bright or hi vis clothing and a waterproof.

Sorry to those who will miss the fishing. We'll have to programme it for the future terms.

Assuming the weather is OK, normal times at the hut, but bring your bike, helmet, wear bright or hi-vis clothes including your waterproof (assuming light showers), bring a drink and a snack in a bag you can cycle with.

Cubs and Scouts have separate routes. Parents are welcome to join us if they wish.

Wetlands visit and PGL thanks

Tonight's meeting is at normal times at the Seaton wetlands. Check Rachel's email for directions and what to bring.

Huge thanks must go to Gordon Davis and Daniel for taking the Scouts away to PGL in north Devon over half term. Sounds like it was a very successful trip. Thank you.

Nature scavenge

Normal times at the hut. Bring a coat and walking shoes as we shall be out and about in Seaton again this week but scavenging for nature. Any extra offers of parent help would be brilliant please. The Cubs particularly benefit from having extra adults so we can split into smaller groups.
