Scouts

The Scout Section is for young people, usually aged between 10½ and 14 years. A young person can come into the Troop at 10 and may stay until they are 14½ years old. The Scout Troop is the third section in the Scout Group, above Beavers and Cubs.

The AGM is at 6.30 and parents are asked to attend. Cubs, scouts and any siblings will enjoy supervised games during the meeting which will be approx 30 minutes. Sausages in rolls will be served to everyone, and time permitting we aim to have parents vs children games after, which brings out the competitive side of our Cubs and scouts!

Rafting at Tipton St John

As Daniel's email, normal times at Tipton St. John scout hut. Wear clothing and shoes for rafting in. Bring a towel, spare change of warm clothes and shoes, a bag for the wet clothes and a drink and snack.
Buoyancy aids will be provided.
Please follow the one way system Daniel has identified in his email as it it a narrow single lane access to the hut.

Assuming the weather is ok, we will be cycling. Please remember bikes, helmets, drink and snack and bright or hi vis clothing and a waterproof.

Assuming the weather is OK, normal times at the hut, but bring your bike, helmet, wear bright or hi-vis clothes including your waterproof (assuming light showers), bring a drink and a snack in a bag you can cycle with.

Cubs and Scouts have separate routes. Parents are welcome to join us if they wish.
